The project’s aim was to upgrade the existing weathered, degraded road base road and build a new road with crowning and swales to give it longevity. The road was constructed from crushed sandstone to represent the historical time period of the Sydney Living Museum (SLM). New grassed swales were formed on both sides of the road for stormwater management.
