Peachtree Creek is a major bank tributary of the Nepean River with a catchment area of approximately 22km and conveys a majority of stormwater from the Penrith Central Business District. A large section of bank along Peachtree Creek was badly affected and degraded due to erosion. The channel is confined by sub vertical and vertical banks. The location, nature and extent of erosion is causing potential threat to public safety as well as adjacent buildings.
